This session will define what coaching involves and the benefits that can be enjoyed. It will explore the different leadership approaches and when to apply them.

Overview

Who is this for?

All employees who need to increase their confidence in their coaching skills or brush up on knowledge in supporting their teams.

Why should I take part?

A good coach does not consider oneself to be an expert with all the solutions. Instead, they perceive themselves as assisting in a learning process, there are a few key talents that can help you become a great coach, regardless of whether you’re a professional coach, a leader, or a manager using a coaching approach to help your team members develop, or apply your coaching skills in a less formal situation.

How will it help me?

During the event, you will…

  • Understand the difference between training, coaching and mentoring
  • Determine the benefits of effective coaching and identify when to use it
  • Discover techniques to help when listening and questioning
  • Practice applying the GROW model

Following the event, you will…

be able to coach with confidence and get the best out of your teams.
