This session will dive deeper into the definition of conflict and challenge the assumption that it is a negative concept. It will provide techniques to assist with the preparation and delivery of challenging conversations.

Overview

Who is this for?

New Team Leaders or Managers or those that would like to improve their skills in challenging conversations and situations.

Why should I take part?

When someone’s behavior makes it difficult for you to do your job, carry out your everyday duties, or maintain a healthy relationship with them, they can be defined as “difficult.” Ranging from the words they say to their inability to work effectively with others, difficult people and situations can drain you mentally, physically, and emotionally. This session will give you the tools to help you understand and self regulate to produce positive outcomes that benefit everybody.

How will it help me?

  • Understand the value of positive conflict
  • Learn what our 'chimp brain' is and what triggers us
